Asset Management Solution: Océ Division Selects MWA Intelligence For A Fully Automated Remote Asset Management Solution
Océ Customers Leverage MWAi Technologies to Deliver Automated Meter Reading and Remote Service Alerts
MWA Intelligence, Inc. (MWAi), an industry-leading provider of remote asset management, service and mobile workforce automation solutions and services, today announced that the Business Products Centers group of the Corporate Printing Division of Océ North America has selected MWAi Intelligent Device Management™ solution suite as the foundation to deliver fully automated remote asset diagnostics and management solutions for its clients.
MWAi's Intelligent Device Management™ (IDM) solution replaces manually-intensive business processes of collecting, reporting and billing meters from a variety of digital imaging devices. In addition, the IDM solution proactively reports paper jams, printing errors, device malfunction, consumables levels, consumables replenishment needs, machine offline or online status automatically, timely and accurately.
As Océ's first installation of MWAi's IDM solution is completed, several hundred digital imaging devices are being monitored through MWAi's secure network software appliance.
"Océ is committed to delivering the best and most innovative document printing solutions to its customers worldwide," said George Clark, Vice President and General Manager, Business Products Centers, of the Corporate Printing Division of Océ North America. "By adding MWA's Intelligent Device ManagementTM to our service offering, we can elevate our already comprehensive solution to the next level with automated remote meter reading and service alert capabilities. This functionality will enhance device uptime, increase the efficiency of our customer's business and enhance Océ's world class customer service.
The Intelligent Device Management solution allows suppliers in the office equipment market to remotely monitor, manage and service networked and non-networked, and any make/model digital imaging devices at geographically dispersed customer sites. By leveraging the Intelligent Asset solution, companies can automatically collect and bill meter reads, ensuring timely invoicing and reducing lost revenues. Additionally, organizations can maximize the use of MWAi's IDM solution and improve service through proactive customer interaction, including the capability to provide remote service management, automated consumables replacement ordering and more.
"We look forward to working with Océ, a leader in providing document imaging solutions and professional services, as they apply the power and flexibility of our solutions to advance their vision of providing superior customer service while optimizing operational efficiency," said Michael T. Stramaglio, CEO and President of MWAi. "Océ's initiative, which will enable automated meter billing and remote service alerts and diagnostics at many customer sites, will set a new standard of delivering excellent customer service."
