Agentek Achieves Symbol Technologies Validation

Real-Time Mobile Computing Solutions for Field Service and Fleet Operations Meets Objectives in Symbol's Solutions Validation Program

Agentek, Inc., a leading wireless mobile solutions provider and Premier Solution Provider member of Symbol Technologies' PartnerSelect Partner Program, today announced that Agentek's mobile development platform and applications, were granted the SymbolPLUS Validated Software logo through Symbol's Solutions Validation Program. This designation will help assure customers and partners of system interoperability between Symbol devices and Agentek applications.

Agentek's Agent Field Service and Agent Fleet mobile applications were tested and co-validated on Symbol devices, including the rugged MC9000 series mobile computers utilizing Windows Mobile 5, and the MC50 and MC70 Enterprise Digital Assistants (EDA). Symbol and Agentek engineers performed a series of scanning tests to co-validate the performance and interoperability in different wireless configurations including WLAN, WAN - GPRS and CDMA, as well as Bluetooth.
