AddSecure FleetVision Video Launched To Improve Driving Behaviour And Fleet Safety

The solution enables fleets to improve driver behaviour, reduce operational costs and move from reactive incident recording to proactive safety management.

AddSecure, a leading provider of secure IoT connectivity and end-to-end solutions, today introduces FleetVision Video, a next‑generation video telematics solution designed to help fleets improve driving behaviour by adding visual context to driving data. By combining video, AI‑powered safety scores and a privacy‑first approach, FleetVision Video enables fleets to improve driver behaviour, reduce operational costs and move from reactive incident recording to proactive safety management.

FleetVision Video is a unified, future‑ready video telematics offering within the FleetVision portfolio. The solution reflects AddSecure’s strategic shift from using video primarily as evidence after incidents to using it as a tool for understanding risk, supporting drivers and improving behaviour over time.

Previously known as RoadView, AddSecure’s video telematics offering has evolved significantly in recent years, expanding from dashcam based evidence capture to advanced, AI enabled safety solutions. AddSecure FleetVision Video formalises this evolution by bringing the full video portfolio together under one brand, with a clear focus on behaviour‑based safety.

FleetVision Video supports both advanced AI‑powered ADAS and DMS, as well as simpler use cases based on forward‑facing video only, allowing fleets to scale as safety needs grow. Unlike built‑in cameras from truck manufactures, which focus on in‑cab alerts to meet regulatory requirements, FleetVision Video extends this capability beyond the vehicle. help drivers and transport managers understand risk and improve driving behaviour through safety scores and coaching.

As part of this evolution, the RoadView Lite/Flex packages have evolved into FleetVision Video Flex, reflecting a modular and scalable approach. Fleets can start with essential video and behaviour insight, then activate additional AI‑based safety features over the air as their safety maturity grows – without replacing hardware. RoadView Plus is correspondingly updated to FleetVision Video Plus.

Built for safety and designed with privacy in mind, FleetVision Video supports event-based recording, identity blurring, configurable data retention and granular access control. The solution focuses on driving related events and does not record the driver’s private space inside the cab, ensuring compliance with GDPR and local regulations across Europe.

“FleetVision Video represents the next step in video telematics,” said Adrian Drewett, Senior Product Manager at AddSecure. “By adding visual context to driving data, we help fleets understand risk more clearly, support drivers more effectively and improve safety through lasting behaviour change”

FleetVision Video is now available for new customers across Europe. Existing RoadView customers will be supported to migrating to FleetVision Video during the second half of 2026.
