The Evolution Of DSD

Many grocers and other retailers utilize central distribution centers to manage the flow of product to their stores. However, more and more manufacturers and distributors have turned to the DSD (direct-store-delivery) model for getting goods to their retailer customers, with sales reps or delivery drivers taking inventory, replenishing shelves, and collecting payment on site.
