Smart Grid Relies On Field Service Automation

That's one reason why GTM Research is redicting that building supporting information and operations systems, in parallel with deployment of smart meters, distribution automation devices, and other grid technologies, will drive some $8.2B in utility enterprise spending between now and 2015.
