RFID Hits The Road

Recently, transportation and logistics companies have begun to turn more frequently to RFID and RTLS (realtime location systems) to help track both assets and materials. In fact, ABI Research expects active RFID and RTLS systems for transportation, as well as RFID for yard management and for tracking returnable transport items, to be among the fastest-growing markets for the technology through 2014.
