GIS Helps Town Manage Public Assets

With a population of just under 7,000, Watchung, NJ, is a small town, but the community's public works department has some big ideas about how technology can improve their operations. The town has deployed a GIS-based asset and work order management solution that has made maintenance crews more efficient and provided a more accurate picture of Watchung's storm water system and other assets.
