Let’s examine the role of the Internet Of Things (IoT) in servitization.

All right — you caught me! Of course there can be “servitization” without IoT. However, that would be analogous to subscribing to cable TV, but not signing up for the premium entertainment or information channels; or even worse, installing a state-of-the-art factory automation system, but without allowing the machines to communicate with each other, you, or your services provider!
