The DURABOOK R11 is survival tested to withstand drops, bumpy roads, moisture, and dust. Its MIL-STD-810G rating assures shock, drop, and vibration protection, as well as the ability to withstand use in a wide range of temperatures. Qualifying under the strict MIL-STD 461F Army Ground and Air Force standard allows the R11 to be confidently used by military forces. An IP65 rating ensures the unit is sealed tight from damaging water and dust intrusion. The unit is also certified to ANSI ISA Standard12.12.01 for operation in hazardous locations.

General Features
The R11 features the latest generation of Intel® power: the 5th generation Intel® Broadwell Core™ i5-5200U 2.2GHz processor, providing superb visual and graphic performance. As the lightest rugged tablet in its class, the DURABOOK R11 comes with an 11.6" HD (1366x768) LCD anti-reflective display with a capacitive multi-touch panel and water-tolerant design. 

It also has a built-in G-sensor, gyroscope sensors, and a light-ambient sensor; Intel high-definition audio; M2-SATA SSD 64GB/128GB storage; a Micro SD card slot that supports SDHC and SDXC; and a front-side, full-HD camera as well as an integrated rear-facing 5MP camera. Intel® Centrino Wireless AC 7260 NGW 802.11 a/b/g/n/AC and Bluetooth 4.0 Class 1 provide wireless communications.

A lithium-polymer battery pack provides 6-7 hours of operation. Security features include computrace support BIOS, administrator password, TPM 1.2, Kensington lock, and boot password protection.
