Telecom contractor Tucker Communications has eliminated thousands of dollars in paperwork expenses with a mobile solution.

Using manual, paper-based processes in the field doesn’t just dampen productivity and efficiency. There are real hard-dollar costs generated by printing, filing, and processing all of that paperwork. Tucker Communications, a cable installation company, has saved thousands of dollars each month by eliminating paperwork and using mobile computers to manage technician activities.

Tucker is a cable installation contract firm based in Thomaston, GA, near Atlanta. Out of the company’s 250 technicians, 130 technicians utilize the tablets to handle installation and disconnection services, rewiring, audits, and equipment collection across Georgia and Alabama.
