Efficient Management of Resources

Mobile applications are a very promising area in terms of field resource management.  Field resources include both personnel and personnel equipment (vehicles, traveling inventory, etc).  Via mobile applications, companies can more efficiently deploy and schedule resources, and keep up to date accurate information on field assets in service.  

Personnel Tracking

An inherent issue with providing field services is the inability to provide face to face management to personnel in the field.  Managers are often unaware of slow performance, poor dispatch methodologies, or customer feedback, until days after work order execution.  At this point, managers are limited in their ability to remediate such situations.  What if managers could use mobile applications to track personnel?
