This core system software manages the collection and processing of location data as well as the centralized management and configuration of the HealthTrax system. The Engine software can use the receipt of a tag message by a single AP to determine a tag’s zone or can triangulate data from three or more access points receiving the same tag message to determine location more accurately. The Engine software is scalable to process thousands of location reports per second and provides sophisticated location network management functions to alert an administrator in case any intervention is required.
