hen a mobile application is discontinued, field service organizations often find themselves stuck with programs that no longer have any support, or they have to quickly find a new solution — a situation that doesn’t always result in the best fit, because their decision is rushed. When Sutton and East Surrey Water (SESW) in the U.K. discovered one of its mobile solutions was being scrapped, it took the opportunity to find a new solution that provided even greater functionality. As a result, the company has improved efficiency and field functionality, while also avoiding costly fines.
