Provides Context and Proactive Exception Management to Increase the Effectiveness of the Mobile Workforce

ViryaNet Limited (OTC QB:VRYAF), a leading provider of software solutions that optimize and allow for the continuous improvement of service processes for mobile workforces, announced today the launch of the new ViryaNet G4 release which focuses on the user experience and advanced exception management capabilities.

This ViryaNet G4 release introduces the concept of a “To Do List” within the dispatch board, changing the approach from dispatchers searching for problems to the system proactively pushing problems to the dispatchers. By automatically detecting exceptions and adding notifications to the To Do List, ViryaNet G4 allows for proactive exception management.

The new release also creates an automatic connection between the problem and the context of the problem that needs to be solved. Through interactive views for the Gantt chart, the outstanding actions list, and the map, ViryaNet G4 provides context for the plan, the exception, and any information needed to solve the problem.

In addition, this ViryaNet G4 release allows dispatchers to enter their own search phrases instead of using predefined queries. The search feature displays auto-suggestions and historical searches and offers the ability to search for individual resources or work items which are then highlighted on the Gantt chart, the outstanding actions list, and the map.

“When dispatchers don’t handle exceptions properly, all the benefits gained by starting with a good plan are lost,” said Talmon Friedlander, Vice President, Product and Cloud Solutions, ViryaNet, “The focus of the new ViryaNet G4 release is to create the best possible user experience by optimizing the task flow and bringing together context, interaction, and the look and feel. Ultimately, this focus helps dispatchers make better decisions.”

“We are excited by this ViryaNet G4 release which is a transformation for service organizations, moving dispatchers from reactive to proactive,” said Aviram Hinenzon, Vice President, Marketing, ViryaNet, “Helping dispatchers make decisions more effectively means field technicians can be more effective. This is the heart of managing the mobile workforce.”
