The transportation and fleet industry is focused on improving overall operations while their drivers make the long treks across the country. Fleets have to be able to closely watch volatile fuel prices, sign and receive documents at delivery depots, watch compliance and training videos, and locate the most optimal routes for their deliveries.

In the past, many truckers' cabins were filled with folders for shipping and cargo documentation for each delivery and maps to find the best routes on the nation's highways. It caused for a lot of clutter and led to unprepared drivers when reaching their destination. In the fleet industry, time is of the essence, and any downtime could cost transportation companies money.
