Platform Science Adds Vector As Application Partner To Streamline Document Capture And Improve Driver Workflows

Partnership enables increased driver efficiency by digitizing workflows and communications around a central platform

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) - Platform Science, an enterprise IoT fleet management platform, has announced a partnership with Vector’s (previously LoadDocs) mobile-first workflow, document capture and transportation management software. Platform Science’s one-of-a-kind open platform allows fleets to pick and choose which applications they need to maximize efficiency and conduct day-to-day operations. The new partnership with Vector adds a best-in-class document scanning application to the Platform Science ecosystem, showcasing both company’s commitment to increasing driver efficiency through modern fleet management productivity tools.

The Vector web and mobile application allows users to access and transmit load documents into a searchable platform available to anyone, anywhere. Drivers can easily capture signature and document scanning via the app and toggle back into workflow with a click of a button. Vector eliminates the need for a physical paper trail for users, but also allows drivers access to all documents they have previously uploaded. If drivers are stopped by the Department of Transportation or if there is an issue with a load, they can also easily populate supporting documents on the spot.

“Allowing our customers to access Vector through Platform Science is just one more way we are achieving our goal of using and improving technology to maximize fleet efficiency,” says Will Chu, CEO at Vector. “We’re excited that Platform Science is able to seamlessly allow drivers to upload and scan documents via our application and quickly integrate these documents into the other applications, as well as sensors connected to the truck.”

One major benefit of the Platform Science IoT solution is the enablement of in-cab computing. Applications are still accessible in areas of little to no reception which means Vector is able to store and save information even if it cannot connect to the server at that time. With these two data-processing and securing strategies combined, the risk of losing or not being able to access information is almost completely eliminated while keeping drivers driving.

“Platform Science is dedicated to supporting application partners that will progressively enhance safety, compliance, and productivity for fleets,” says Joe Jumayao, VP of Business Development. “We want enterprise fleets to have access to the best possible apps available for their business needs and we are extremely confident that Vector will add value above and beyond expectations for every driver.”
