M2M Connections Set To Triple By 2018 Thanks To Enterprise Desire To Remain Competitive

The quest for enhanced business agility, improved connectivity and reduced CAPEX/OPEX spend is just beginning to heat up, particularly as innovations such as the Internet of Things, ZigBee and M2M business intelligence allow businesses of all sizes to compete more aggressively in their respected space. In fact, when it comes to M2M, the best may still be yet to come with industry pundits predicting that WAN wireless M2M connections will surge from 220 million today to just over 630 million connections by 2018.
