Clevest Solutions Achieves Esri Gold Tier Partner Status

Clevest Solutions Inc., a leading provider of mobile workforce automation software including smart grid deployment and post-deployment operations exclusively for the utility industry, announced it has achieved Gold Tier level in the Esri Partner Network, a premier group of organizations offering a wide range of geographic information system (GIS) solutions and services developed on the Esri software platform.

The partnership allows utilities worldwide to extend the value of existing Esri technology investments by incorporating Clevest mobile workforce management (MWFM) and automatic vehicle location (AVL) solutions. Clevest's solutions leverage Esri's ArcGIS for Server technology by enabling multiple map service overlays within a map-based user interface that allows utilities to track and manage mobile workers and assets in real time while seamlessly interacting with GIS data. With the integrated solution, utilities have a complete view of the relationship between their asset infrastructure and mobile workforce.

Additionally, Clevest's MWFM solution leverages Esri-based routing functionality, which calculates travel times and directions based on the road network and a utility's infrastructure. This information is used to automatically optimize daily route plans and minimize travel time, which improves overall responsiveness, decreases fuel costs and reduces wear and tear on vehicles.

Doug Engerman, SVP Global Sales and Marketing, Clevest said, "Electric, gas and water utilities are significant users of GIS and, as the leader worldwide in GIS technology, Esri solutions are found in most utilities. By uniquely integrating both MWFM and AVL with Esri's GIS, Clevest helps utilities achieve powerful synergies between engineering and operations data with a complete, real-time view of their mobile workers, job sites, vehicles and infrastructure."

"As a Gold Tier partner of the Esri Partner Network, Clevest can better leverage Esri technology through more proactive planning and joint strategy development. Additionally, given the strong position and broad usage of Esri technology within the utility industry, Clevest can be more useful and effective for Esri users," indicated Josh Lewis, Director, Esri Partner Network, Esri.

The Esri Partner Network is a worldwide community of companies that develop and deliver cutting-edge geographic spatial solutions and services based on Esri technology. Together, Esri and its partners collaborate to support end users through successful GIS implementations and repeatable solutions. The Gold Tier partnership offers partners enhanced technical and sales support and the opportunity for collaborative engagements with both a national and multinational market focus.

The integration between Clevest's MWFM and AVL solutions and the Esri software platform is currently in production at a number of utilities in the U.S. and Canada, and additional utilities in the U.S. are scheduled to implement the combined solution in the coming months.

Clevest will be an exhibitor at Esri's International User Conference on July 23-27, 2012 at the San Diego Convention Center. More information on the event can be found at: http://www.esri.com/events/user-conference/index.html
