Herndon, VA – Wireless Matrix Corporation announced recently that it has signed an expansion agreement with an existing customer, a natural gas utility service provider in the southwestern United States.

A customer since 2006, the utility uses Wireless Matrix's FleetOutlook® for greater visibility into its field resources. This is especially important during outages, when customers depend on the utility for rapid, accurate response to restore service. Under the new agreement, FleetOutlook will be rolled out in multiple service centers, providing broader support for the utility's key outage management functions.

Under the agreement, the utility adds 360 application and communication subscribers to its existing deployment, increasing the customer's total deployment to over 480 subscribers.

"FleetOutlook is a primary tool that this utility's outage management group relies on during critical service restoration activities," said J. Richard Carlson, president and CEO of Wireless Matrix. "It provides the platform for responsiveness that drives improved customer satisfaction and ultimately higher revenues for this growing utility."
